“Light in the Darkness”

Welcome/Announcement/Passing of Peace – Frank Mansell

The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you!  Peace be with you!

Song Celebration:  “Here I Am To Worship”

Light of the world,

You stepped down into darkness,

Opened my eyes, let me see.

Beauty that made this
Heart adore You,

Hope of a life spent with You.

Here I am to worship;

Here I am to bow down;

Here I am to say
That You’re my God.

You’re altogether lovely,

Altogether worthy,

Altogether wonderful to me.

King of all days, oh,

So highly exalted,

Glorious in heaven above.

Humbly You came

to the earth You created,

all  for love’s sake

became poor.

Here I am to worship;

Here I am to bow down;

Here I am to say
That You’re my God.

You’re altogether lovely,

Altogether worthy,

Altogether wonderful to me.

I’ll never know

How much it cost

To see my sin upon that cross.

I’ll never know

How much it cost

To see my sin upon that cross.

Here I am to worship;

Here I am to bow down;

Here I am to say

That You’re my God.

You’re altogether lovely,

Altogether worthy

Altogether wonderful to me.

Here I am to worship;

Here I am to bow down;

Here I am to say

That You’re my God.

You’re altogether lovely,

Altogether worthy

Altogether wonderful to me.
Here I am to worship.

Children’s Time – Lisa Crismore

Sharing of Joys and Concerns and Lord’s Prayer – Ann Hamel

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.   Amen.

Song: “Follow the Light”

Star in the sky, we behold You.

How could our eyes turn away

Drawn to the light of mercy

That comes to make a way

A lamp for our path

that was darkness

Eternity’s secret revealed

A hope to illumine these shadows

A love that was born to heal.

And we will follow the Light,

We will follow the Light,

Seeking the Lamb,

our saving Love Divine.

Even the night will not shake us,

In the desert, our hearts will not fear,

Drawn to the hope of salvation,

We wait for the sun to appear.

And we will follow the Light,

We will follow the Light,

Seeking the Lamb,

Our saving Love Divine.

O Star of wonder, star of night,

Star with royal beauty bright.

Westward leading, still proceeding,

Guide us to Thy Perfect Light.

And we will follow the Light,

We will follow the Light,

Seeking the Lamb,

Seeking the Lamb.

We will follow the Light,

We will follow the Light,

Seeking the Lamb,

Our saving Love Divine.

Scripture: Isaiah 60: 1-6 – Matt Whitaker

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.  For darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples;but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will appear over you. Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look around; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from far away,and your daughters shall be carried on their nurses’ arms. Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and rejoice, because the abundance of the sea shall be brought to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you. A multitude of camels shall cover you, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come. They shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall proclaim the praise of the Lord.

Song:  “We Three Kings”   verses 1 & 5

We Three Kings of Orient are,

bearing gifts we traverse afar;

Field and Fountain, moor and mountain,

following yonder star.

O star of wonder, star of  night,

star with royal beauty bright;

Westward leading still proceeding,

guide us to thy perfect light.

Glorious now, behold Him arise,

King and God and sacrifice;

Alleluia, Alleluia, peals through

the earth and skies.

O star of wonder, star of  night,

star with royal beauty bright;

Westward leading still proceeding,

guide us to thy perfect light.

Celebration of the Lord’s Supper – Frank Mansell and William Almodovar

Song:  “I Will Follow”

Where You go, I’ll go;

Where You stay, I’ll stay;

When You move, I’ll move;

I will follow.

All Your ways are good,

All Your ways are sure,

I will trust in You alone,

Higher than my side,

High above my life,

I will trust in You alone,

In You alone.

Where You go, I’ll go,

Where You stay, I’ll stay;

When You move, I’ll move,

I will follow You.

Who You love, I’ll love,

How You serve, I’ll serve;

If this life I lose,

I will follow You, yeah,

I will follow You, yeah.

Light unto the world,

Light unto my life,

I will live for You alone

You’re the one I seek,

Knowing I will find

All I need in You alone,

In You alone.

Where You go, I’ll go,

Where You stay, I’ll stay;

When You move, I’ll move,

I will follow You.

Who You love, I’ll love,

How You serve, I’ll serve;

If this life I lose,

I will follow You, yeah,

I will follow You, yeah.

In You there’s life everlasting,

In You there’s freedom for my soul.

In You there’s joy, unending joy,

And I will follow

Where You go, I’ll go,

Where You stay, I’ll stay;

When You move, I’ll move,

I will follow You.

Who You love, I’ll love,

How You serve, I’ll serve;

If this life I lose,

I will follow,

Where You go, I’ll go,

Where You stay, I’ll stay;

When You move, I’ll move,

I will follow You.

Who You love, I’ll love,

How You serve, I’ll serve;

If this life I lose,

I will follow You, yeah,

I will follow You, yeah,

I will follow You, yeah,

I will follow You, yeah.
