FOOD ON THE FIRST!

Help us feed the hungry in our neighborhood!  On the first Sunday of each month, we collect non-perishable food items for The Storehouse, our local food pantry. Just bring your donations to church and our volunteers will make sure they are taken to the Storehouse.  The Storehouse has a distribution day every second Saturday (9am-11am) and every fourth Wednesday (4:30pm-6:30pm) of the month.

Most needed items are:  cereal (all kinds!), Au Gratin or scalloped potatoes in the box, or instant mashed potatoes, 18 oz. peanut butter, 15 oz. canned vegetables (do not need to be name brands!), 15 oz. canned pears, peaches, or mixed fruit (again, name brands are not necessary), 10.5 oz. cans of soup - tomato, chicken noodle, or vegetable), 1 lb. pkgs. of spaghetti or elbow macaroni, 15 oz. cans of Chef Boyardee Spaghetti with Meatballs, Ravioli or Beefaroni (name brands not necessary)

OR, write a check to the church and let our Storehouse volunteers do the shopping for you!!  Your help is greatly appreciated!
