Come and See 2022

John’s story of Jesus’ baptism as well as his birth narrative is far different from the other Gospels. From the start of the Gospel, John points to the uniqueness of Jesus’ place in the story of God. John points to what Jesus will do through the sacrifice of his own life for the sake of others. This is a story worth telling and passing along. Sometimes we maybe make it a little too big a deal, forgetting that the way to pass the torch of faith is through the simple conversations we have with people we know.
