Things to Remember

A HUGE THANK YOU from the PW Coordinating Team
PW is thankful for all who participated in the Gift Card and Candy Basket drawing, held on Dec. 12th, directly after the Circle City Ringers! The Gift Cards totaled $1,070.00 and the winner of the basket is Pam Herman. CONGRATULATIONS PAM! Also, a thank you to Sandy Jordan for building the basket for us. The cash total from the sale of the raffle tickets is $796.00. The PW will certainly put the cash to good use for the Church.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service - December 24 - 6:30 pm
To celebrate the coming of the Christ Child, we will gather for worship on Christmas Eve at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. Our service will include music by the Adult Chancel Choir and Spirit Alive Band. It will include scripture, carols, communion, and candlelight. Childcare will be provided. Plan on attending this special service celebrating the Christ Child’s birth, and consider inviting your friends and family to worship with us that evening!
Sunday After Christmas - December 26 - 11 am
On the Sunday morning after Christmas, we will have one worship service at 11 a.m. There will be no church school or other activities at the church that morning. The service will be live-streamed on Facebook. Come join us for worship as we celebrate the season of Christ’s birth!
De-Decorate the Church - January 8 - 12 pm
Unfortunately, we have to take all these beautiful decorations down after Christmas. The Chancel Guild could use your help to do so on Saturday, January 8 at 12:00pm. We’ll provide a box lunch from McAlister’s Deli for your efforts! Please sign-up on the bulletin board outside the office, or contact Ann Hamel (317-750-6367;
by January 3 if you wish to help – we have to order the lunches ahead of time.
In the midst of the busyness and rush of the season, I pray and hope that you have been able to stop and ponder the miracle that is about to happen. As we take those last few steps to Bethlehem, have you been able to think "outside the box" to offer a place or room for someone in need or seeking? Have you put yourself in the Innkeeper's shoes? How will you respond to the coming of this baby?
Advent Blessings,
Lisa
