Christmas Program
This Sunday, December 5 at 6:30 pm – Are you ready to sing some Christmas Carols and get into the Christmas spirit? Mark your calendars and plan to attend the Christmas program. This year will be very simple as we share in a reading of “Unwrapping the Christmas Crèche” and sing those favorite carols. There will also be some sharing of some musical talents and gifts. We are asking that as you decorate your home for Christmas to take a picture of your nativity set and text them to Lisa at 317-910-7429 or send it to . We will be putting together a PowerPoint show as our finale. Christmas blessings!
Gift Card Basket
Time for a Raffle! The PW Coordinating Team is asking for donations of gift cards (any kind), now through DEC. 5th. Sandy Jordan will build us one of her great baskets and we will hold the drawing for it on Dec. 12th, after the Circle City Ringers perform. Tickets can be purchased starting Nov. 14th through Dec. 12th, cost, $1.00 per ticket. Online viewers are invited to participate, simply mail your check to the Church, payable to PWJKPC, note Gift Card Basket, and the number of tickets you want on the check. Your tickets will be held in the Church office until the day of the drawing unless you want your stubs mailed back to you. If you want them returned please include a note requesting them with your check. ON-LINE PARTICIPANTS ONLY - PLEASE NOTE your check must be received IN THE CHURCH OFFICE no later than MONDAY, DECEMBER 6th. This allows for a delay in mailing time and insurers that your tickets will be included in the drawing on Dec. 12th. You need not be present to win! A basket makes a great gift OR multiple gifts OR keep it for yourself and enjoy lots of great food, shopping, gasoline, movies, the possibilities are endless! Any questions, see anyone on the PW Coordinating Team. Thank you for supporting PW's mission and ministry.

See You There!
Blue Christmas Service - December 14 - 6:30 pm
For many, the holiday season is not an especially happy time, as it brings back memories of loved ones no longer here. While Christmas is often filled with joy, it also can be filled with pain, sadness, and grief. This year, we will come together again in a time of worship to acknowledge those feelings in a “Blue Christmas Service” on December 14. This will be a service of scripture, music, and prayer. We hope you will feel led to come and share in this time of worship, as we offer all of who we are to God in this time of preparation for the Christ Child.
Prime Timers - December 15 - 10:30 am
We will gather on Wednesday, December 15 at 10:30 am to carpool downtown to Ayres Tearoom at the Indiana State Museum. Our lunch reservations are at 11:15 am. Please rsvp by calling the office or letting Lisa know. The tearoom is only offering a buffet this year which is $26.50/person (includes drink and dessert) You can view the buffet menu - Click here to view the buffet menu. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service - December 24 - 6:30 pm
To celebrate the coming of the Christ Child, we will gather for worship on Christmas Eve at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. Our service will include music by the Adult Chancel Choir and Spirit Alive Band. It will include scripture, carols, communion, and candlelight. Childcare will be provided. Plan on attending this special service celebrating the Christ Child’s birth, and consider inviting your friends and family to worship with us that evening!
Sunday After Christmas - December 26 - 11 am
On the Sunday morning after Christmas, we will have one worship service at 11 a.m. There will be no church school or other activities at the church that morning. The service will be live-streamed on Facebook. Come join us for worship as we celebrate the season of Christ’s birth!
Wreaths for the Church
We will have eight live wreaths to decorate the entrances to the church, the sanctuary, and the fellowship hall this Advent and Christmas. If you would like to make a donation for one or more of these, they are $14 each. Please make your check out to the church, mark it “Wreaths” and who you wish it to be in honor or memory of, and turn it into the church office. Thank you!
New Beginnings - Veterans Day Collection
In honor of our veterans, the Mission Team invites everyone to make a financial donation to the New Beginnings Fund. Our veterans have given so much to our country, and this is an opportunity we have to thank them by helping the least fortunate in our midst. As you can see every month, we are assisting many people in our community with food, clothing, transportation, and other pressing needs. Mark your donation “New Beginnings” and thank you for your continued, generous support which gives hope and peace to so many in our community.
I pray God's grace will touch your heart in a way that reminds you today you are not alone as you walk the road before you.
Blessings,
Pastor Beth
