Lots of Things Can Be Medicine
This Sunday at John Knox
You're invited to join us this Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 9:00 am for our Traditional Service or at 11:00 am for our Contemporary Service. If you wish to join us online for worship, you may do so through Facebook Live. Click here to watch our streaming live services. Please note: You do not have to have a Facebook account to view our services. Our scriptures this Sunday are: Psalm 63:1-8 and Luke 13:1-9
Thanks!
Thank you for helping with our JKPC timeline. Now, would you do it again? Somehow the timeline disappeared and in order to do step two on the timeline, we need step one completed. So drop by the fellowship hall and add your information again! We loved seeing your name on the timeline, so let's do it again!
Thanks,
Pastor Beth

Easter Flower Orders
The Chancel Guild is now taking orders for Easter flowers. We will not have lilies this year due to our interim pastor’s allergy to them; however, we will be obtaining daffodils and tulips which we hope will be in bloom for Easter Sunday. The cost is $10.00 per plant, and orders need to be submitted by April 10. Please submit payment at the time of your order and mark “Easter Flowers” on your envelope or check.

Lenten Devotionals Available
Lent began on March 2. Our Lenten theme this year is Good Enough. We are so pleased to be utilizing the devotional book, Good Enough: 40’ish Devotionals for a Life of Imperfection, as the basis for our worship this Lent. Each week we will be focusing on a concept from the book, and we invite you to use it as a daily devotional, with the exception of Sundays (this is traditionally how the “40 days of Lent” are calculated… and at some point, you’ll find the “40’ish-ness” where there is one more, which makes it perfectly imperfect). Books are available for purchase at Amazon.com
Flowers in 2022
One of the ways that you can contribute to our worship experience each Sunday is by placing flowers in worship. There is a calendar outside the church office where you can sign-up. Please feel free to contact Amy Willis if you have any questions (317-291-0308). Thank you!
Masking Update
Marion County is currently in BLUE status. Masks are now optional in the building. Mask will still be required for congregational singing. As a congregation, we have followed the guidance of the state and the CDC throughout the pandemic, and strive to do our best now as well.
Please keep in mind that some folks still may prefer to wear their mask and have a little more personal space. If you are sick, (even just a case of sniffles), please remain home. (We want to keep this good thing going!)
Additionally, we will continue to Livestream both our services.
If you have any concerns regarding this change, contact Pastor Beth directly or contact one of our ruling elders.
