As we monitor the Covid virus we are seeing an increase in cases in our area. Just a reminder that if you are not feeling well, even if you think it is something as simple as a cold, PLEASE STAY HOME and worship via Facebook. As usual, masks and hand sanitizer are available at the church. Let's keep everyone safe and healthy.

Celebrate Our Graduates
We will celebrate our graduates this Sunday, May 22. If you or a family member has or will be graduating this year, please contact Lisa Crismore (
; 317-291-0308) with the name of the graduate, the school/program, date of graduation, and what they plan to do after graduation. This information will be shared in the bulletin on the day of the celebration and the June Tidings.

Interested in becoming a member of John Knox? Or interested in finding out more information about our church? Join us for lunch and a conversation on May 22 immediately following the 2nd service. Please RSVP to the church office so we can have enough food.
Race Weekend Service
Due to the Indianapolis 500 Race, there will be no activities at the church on Sunday, May 29. But, as we have in the past, we are going to have a meal and worship in a comfortable way the day before! We will gather for a pitch-in picnic in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, May 28, at 6 p.m. The Worship Team will provide drinks and table service - you are asked to bring a dish to share. Then, we will stay in the Fellowship Hall for worship
starting around 7 p.m.
Margaret Wilson Scholarship
Just a reminder to our high school seniors and college students, the scholarship applications are due May 22 by the close of the business day. The forms can be put in Lisa Crismore’s mailbox or mailed to the church office. You should have received a scholarship application in the mail. Please see Lisa Crismore if you need another scholarship form or have any questions.
Indy Honor Flight #35
Jeff Roberts has been invited to Indy Honor Flight #35 departing June 4, 2022. Indy Honor Flight transports WWll, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans to Washington, DC to visit memorials dedicated to honor their sacrifice. Jeff may be the only Submariner participating in this event.
Indy Honor Flight is soliciting cards or letters for a "Mail Call '' to be held en route. Those wishing to send Jeff a card or letter may do so at the address listed below.

Let's Get Ready for the Summer
Youth and families are all getting ready for summer activities! VBS is quickly approaching, June 21st - July 1st. As you are making your summer plans, please let us know if your youth would prefer to participate in either assisting through VBS or doing local mission projects.
Youth Pizza Lunch
The Youth will be having a pizza lunch on June 12 at 1 p.m. More information about the location coming soon.
Vacation Bible School
We are making plans for the week of Vacation Bible School. The date has changed because the Soccer Camp needs to be held June 20-24. VBS will now be held on June 27-July 1 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. with dinner provided. Our theme will be “Knights of North Castle.” Come and join us as we seek to find strength in God by putting on our armor of truth, justice, peace, faith, and salvation! You won’t want to miss meeting our puppet mascot Sparky! Iglesia Hermandad Cristiana and Kelly and Jon Simpson have confirmed that they will be joining us for this special event. If you plan to be a part of leading or helping this week, please plan to attend the training/information meeting on Sunday, May 22 at 12:30 p.m. with lunch provided.
